In August of 2005, The Initiative Research Institute was incorporated in the state of Massachusetts. The Initiative takes as is mission the furtherance of projects designed to advance educational, charitable and/or scientific goals.
The Initiative is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to supporting, encouraging and disseminating the collaborative research of undergraduate and graduate students.
- The Initiative acts as a consultative organization to help students frame their research agenda and seek support
- The Initiative takes an active role in encouraging students to pursue their research interests in structured, methodical manner becoming of academic research
- The Initiative publishes and disseminates research of its student members at TheInitiative.org
